Looks nice, started immediately on 1st use its pretty, though the one i received had some scratches, probably from the handling putting the kettle to the plastic and box. the kettle sound is not that loud, i need to be near the kettle 10 feet to hear it, but with watching tv i dont think so that you will hear it,unless you can view it from the living room, or checking it out if your water is boiling already.
