• The dried leaves are dark and delicate broken leaves and some stems, with a very fine aromatic and almost muscatel fragrance that is reminiscent of a Darjeeling
• The flavor of the brewed tea is very smooth and mellow, with very little astringency
• It has a deep, rich flavor that has smoky undertones, and a touch of an earthy nuance to it
• This is a medium to heavy strength tea that would stand up quite well to sugar or milk
