  • Jade Oolong is our name for this lightly oxidized, tightly rolled, ball shaped oolong tea that is harvested twice each year in Taiwan’s central highlands. Made from the Si Ji Chun, (“Four Seasons Spring”) cultivar, Jade Oolong has a golden-green, medium bodied infusion with a very floral, long-lasting aromatic complexity evocative of fresh gardenia, freesia blossoms and tropical fruit. Grown at elevations of 500-850 meters above sea level in the Mingjian Village of Nantou, Taiwan.

Wonderful Oolong This is such a delightful tea at a bargain price. It is everything I look for in a green oolong- full of rich floral notes, stands up to repeated steepings, and full of soul. I had a wonderful yoga session after brewing up a pot of this and the energy is still very resonate many hours later- so much chi in this tea! One of my all-time favorite oolong teas One of my all-time favorite oolong teas. I first tried “Four Seasons” at Teavana, but was deterred by the price. Thank God Rishi provided the same quality for a fraction of the cost! This is my go-to oolong. A light, floral, almost buttery flavor that lingers a bit and then disappears leaving you wanting more. If one is up for an adventure, I recommend steeping at least 7 times to fully experience how the flavor evolves before diminishing. Truly can’t say enough good things about this…

Great tasting oolong I like this oolong from Taiwan very much, especially the balance between the flowery notes and the slight bitterness. I get four good tasting infusions from the tea and pour a fifth cup of hot water over it in the evening, which provides a nice cup of cold tea to start the next day. Another great tea from Rishi.
