Matcha is a fine bright green powder made from tea leaves. It is characterized by its rich aroma, full-bodied mellow sweetness, vivid green colour, and smooth rich colour. Our matcha is a real treat. For this Premium grade only the best leaves from the first harvest were selected. Matcha is a favourite among tea lovers in Japan. There are 2 kinds of matcha that are different in how you prepare them you have the thicker koicha and the thinner usucha. The typical drink the matcha tea drinker drinks is usucha but for special occasions like birthday parties or tea ceremonies they often drink a bowl of the much sweeter and full bodied koicha. In Japan matcha’s well known full-bodied mellow sweetness is also called unami. Generally, the higher the grade of matcha the richer in unami it will taste. Picked in 2015. In traditional preparation we use a chawan and a whisk. Start with placing about 2 gram of tea in a tea bowl or a tea cup, add about 100 ml of water at 80°C. Whisk in an N patern until a foamy froth appears on the surface. Slowly add another 50ml of water. Matcha is opposed to other tea is drunk entirely, Enjoy.

Aged to Perfection Valley of Tea is selling Pu-Erh loose leaf tea. Of all the finest teas from the Far East, I’d have to say Pu Erh tea is my favorite, although like finely aged single malt whiskey, it can be an acquired taste. Pu Erg comes from Yunnan district in South West China. Some Pu-erh teas are sold compressed into little bricks, or sometimes discs. This pu erh is not compressed, but is packaged loose. It is however aged. Like fine red wine, or certain types of cheese, aging this tea develops the flavor…

Great tea I love Golden Monkey tea (another name for this tea) and this is a tasty version of it. I like to have it with my breakfast. Very satisfied with both the product and the vendor who provided excellent service and also sent me an email about the tea.
