Beauty and function! This is my second Iwachu cast iron tea pot and it is a little bigger than my other one. It is truly a work of art–and I am happy that I can use it, and then just admire it when I am finished with my tea. It also keeps tea hot for a long time. Thanks for offering this item–and at an excellent price, too!!
Beautiful and Affordable I purchased this tea pot as a gift for my mom who is Japanese. She loves tea and keeps it mostly as a decorative item but she does take it out once and while to make tea for special occassions.
Nice teapot, color… not so nice This tea pot has more of a rusty red color to it rather than bright orange. It is nice and functional, but I wouldn’t have bought it if I saw it in a store. And yes, I know that the color can appear differently depending on the screen settings, so before buying I checked it on two of my laptops, a home computer, an ipad and android device. They all show a nice bright orange color that has nothing to do with the real product.
