This teapot is made by Iwachu, one of the finest manufacturers of Nambu ironware with a company history of over 110 years since its founding in 1902. Iwachu is known for its technical innovation and unconventional designs endeared not only in Japan but also in Europe, Americas and Asia. “Iwachu” is in fact used as pronown of “Nambu Tekki” in Europe.
