Durable and a nice statement piece I bought this for a friend after seeing a much more expensive version in a chain store. This one looked just like it and was the same size and weight for about 1/4 the price. Well worth the buy. It stay nice and warm and doesn’t get too hot.This is not for stove tops. It is just a teapot, boil your water elsewhere then brew in here or brew then serve with this. Holds up I bought this for our son for his birthday , they live in a city that often has power outages and wanted a good cast iron kettle to make tea or coffee. It arrived well packaged and I have to be honest it is a somewhat heavy kettle but it is cast iron, it is a lovely design so to the eyes itâs appealing . After many uses itâs been a good kettle pot and we are pleased so far with this kettle . I would recommend this kettle
I like the pot very much I like the pot very much. It’s made of heavy good quality material and I brew my tea in it every day. The only negative is that you should keep a coaster under it because the black color on the bottom of the pot comes off and makes a mark on the table. Also, for some reason if you keep the tea in it more than 5-6 hours, it turns cloudy at times. Otherwise it’s very cute and I am enjoying it.
