yes the 30z, 40z, every model has enameling (glaze), these are not true cast iron tea kettles, they are tea pots! the website description is accurate, there is a lined interior, all these pots have a kind of glaze sprayed in them. its not quite the fully lined porcelain interior from other pots, but this is not a true cast iron tea kettle (not pot). there is a kind of enamel/glaze on the inside. i bought this after the comments said the 30z and 40z had no glaze/enamel, but after following the instructions to the letter, i still get this odd flaking on the inside. never noticed it until i looked with a…

Beautiful teapot that is small but requires specific care to prevent rust. Nice product, but smaller than I thought. Makes only about 1 mug (12 oz) of tea. Quite a bit of prepping the tea pot for first use (boil tea in it for 1 hr, repeat 2-3 times until water runs clear). You can use this on the stove top, unlike some other similar tea pots, but it seems more efficient to just pour boiling water into it and let the tea seep. The company said they didn’t have the replacement part in the warehouse, so I would need to send the entire pot back. I didn’t want to do that seeing as how I’d…
