How to use
Fit the infuser in the top of the teapot
Put 5 heaped teaspoons of your favorite loose-leaf tea in the stainless steel infuser.
Fill the teapot with water (use filtered water for a purer taste).
***If boiling the water in an electric kettle, pour into the top of the teapot once the water has boiled.
***If heating water in the teapot place the full teapot over a low heat until ready. Remove the teapot off the stove.
Place the lid on the teapot.
Put the teapot aside and give your tea time to steep. Time will vary on the type of tea being used.
Cleaning your Cast Iron Teapot
Remove any remaining water from your teapot.
Never allow water to remain in the teapot for more than an hour.
Fill the teapot with warm water.
Leave the warm water in the teapot for about ten seconds before pouring it out via the spout to ensure you clean the entire interior.
Fill the teapot with warm water and pour it out three times before letting it dry.
Using a paper towel, give the inside a quick wipe down to soak up most of the remaining water. If you cleaned the teapot with very hot or boiling water be careful because the teapot will be very hot inside.
Turn the teapot upside down and let it dry completely.
Do not use detergent, sponges, salt, oil or any other cleaning material to clean the teapot as it may affect the enamel coating.
Run the stainless steel infuser under warm water. Mild detergent can be used to clean the infuser.
Once dried store in a dry place.
