I’d call this an amazing value for the size of the pot and coming … My first real teapot, cast iron makes a huge difference. I’d call this an amazing value for the size of the pot and coming with two cups and a stand. It’s attractive and functional. The spout is quite good and almost never drips. The mesh bowl is fine, and combined with how it pours I almost never get any leaf bits in my tea.The paint job isn’t perfect, but I’m taking off stars for that.
Functional and looks great I really like the dragons. It wasn’t clear in the pictures but there ar dragons on each of the cups. I also ordered a pair of black leaf costers to complete the look. This and my other two tea sets are the first thing you may see as you come in my house that or the swords spears and shields. The cups are the only problem. With this set. The best solution is to use my China / porsolyn cups. The cast iron sucks the heat out of the tea so you have a cup you can’t hold or put your lips to and cold…
I bought this for a gift and was extremely disappointed when it arrived I bought this for a gift and was extremely disappointed when it arrived. Instead of the dark blue color I expected, the set is PINKISH LAVENDER! Not even close! The paint is chipped off in a few spots on the edge of the cups. Would not recommend this product — not as described and lacking in quality.
