I have bought more then 30 of these, they all work great! I have now bought close to 30 of these tea kettles of different sizes and colors. I like to give them as gifts and I use mine everyday. Do not be fooled by the negative reviews. Most are from people who tried to heat water in this by putting it on the stove top. NEVER DO THAT, it will crack the enamel on the inside.
