The teapot can be used for either boiling, brewing or the tea serving, be sure to heat the teapot with maximum 80% water using induction cooktop, never put it over an open flame that may destroy the lacquered surface of the teapot. the interior enamel coating keeps the taste of tea pure and the cast iron distributes heat more evenly so it enhances the flavor while the tea brewed. furthermore the heat-retaining property of the heavy cast iron keeps the tea at the proper serving temperature for approx. an hour.
