Returned it… someone used a paint pen to “fix” the bubbled paint on the ninja’s face!!! This little ninja mug is stinking cute! I bought it for my friend’s 14-year-old daughter. I’m so glad I opened the box and looked at it before I wrapped it and gave it to her! The paint on the face was bubbled in several places, and someone did a *very* sloppy “repair”; job with a paint pen to try to cover them up! I didn’t allow enough time to receive a replacement before the party so I’m returning for a refund. (I posted a picture in the customer pictures section.)
Don’t put in Dishwasher!! This was my favorite mug. A ninja reaching behind to grab his sword, clever handle. Since I lived in the dorms, we did not have a dishwasher so I washed this mug by hand. However, upon moving to a residence with a dishwasher, I made the mistake of putting this mug in the dishwasher. In the description for this mug it says ‘dishwasher safe’ but I think they mean ‘75% Dishwasher safe’ because when I took it out of the dishwasher, the hand was melted off! WAY TOO COOL! This mug is the best! The construction of this mug is perfect, from the paintwork to the overall design. When I received it in the mail, I couldn’t wait to try it out. So after washing it, I made some hot cocoa and enjoyed a night with some textbooks. Looking up at him every now and then made my otherwise lame night of studying that much better.
