Surprising I was surprised when my new Corelle dinnerware arrived. They are thin and light weight to the point of reminding me of toy plates. Not that I think that is a big deal. With my bad back and rapidly advancing years I see that as a positive attribute. BEAUTIFUL DISHES GOOD FOR ANY OCCASION I love these Corelle dishes. I am the cook for all holidays in my family, so wanted to get dishes that would hold up for a while. I got the whole set of these: dinner plates, desert plates, lunch plates, cereal bowls, soup bowls, platters, cups, and saucers. I initially got a place setting for 6 to see how I liked them.
