I (gulp) recommend this mug. Purchasing this as a Christmas gift was incredibly difficult for me because I hate this guy, but my mother is an out-of-the- closet republican so I sucked it up for her behalf. Seems to be made well and I get nauseous every time she drinks coffee in my presence but she likes it… and it’s Christmas… so I just keep a bottle of generic pepto bismol on hand and suck it up. She loves it. So I grudgingly do recommend this mug.
