If this looked anything like the product picture, I’d love it. I’d say skip this unless you have really low expectations. The image is spotty and cheap looking, and the transition when it heats up looks nothing like it does in the picture. The white in the product image is yellow on the mug, and it’s in uneven patches rather than large circles. Really disappointing, especially for how much it cost.
I LOVE my Harry Potter mug I LOVE my Harry Potter mug! It’s perfect for the Harry Potter fan that loves coffee or tea. Be warned though because it’s not recommended to be put in the microwave (you can but I have not) or to be put in the dishwasher. I make sure to hand wash it right away so it doesn’t accidentally make its way into the dishwasher.
Poor quality control. The design and transition of the image are very good. However, mine came with a nickle sized spot above and to the left of the moon on the side showing harry. The spot is indented, and has no coating. So there is a bare white ceramic spot in the best side of the mug. There were no chipped off pieces in the packaging, so I do not think it happened in transit. Otherwise I would have given the mug a 5.
