Looks great until you wash it once. This mug looks great and is a good size. It fits comfortably in your hand. And then you wash it by hand and all the lines and type start falling off, a little more each time. I have crappy mugs from 30 years ago with the print still on them. We have the technology to print things on mugs without using what looks like basically stickers that don’t like to get wet. Very disappointed.
A mug thatâs fun! Bought this for my grandma, a former teacher who loves to read. She LOVES it! The first time she used it, she spent a good 10-15 minutes staring at it intently: first waiting for the heat-activated redactions to disappear, then marveling over which books had been banned at one point or another and trying to figure out why some of them had been on that list. Itâs marked hand-wash only, but thatâs really the only knock I have on it, and itâs not a big enough hassle to remove any stars for it.
Total Junk Cute mug, but NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. After one wash, the label on the bottom and several of the Poe heads are gone and some of the remaining ones are flaking off. Terrible quality!
