Solid low-cost alternative to Bialetti First off, I did NOT receive this at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion, I bought it at the regular price. With that said I’m completely happy with the moka pot! I own a few sizes of the traditional Bialetti pots but when I finally wore out the rubber gasket in my “6 cup” (really should say 6 espresso shots) pot I decided based on the funky packaging and great price of the MateoJo model to give it a shot rather than order a refurbishing kit.
Great stovetop espresso maker!! Fantastic product, more than surpassed my expectations. This wonderfully crafted stovetop espresso maker produces excellent coffee. The MateoJo is my third traditional style espresso maker. The percolation is far more consistent than other makers, and it produces a very even brew of espresso. Great product!
Also the amount it does make is perfect for a real coffee lover I am comparing this to the Bialetti which I also have, but wanted a Moka pot at two different locations.
