Lead I bought one of these, I liked the design, but then read the bottom of the box where it says that the design is printed with LEAD PAINT. So now I have a nice Star Trek pen holder. I noticed that it doesn’t mention that in the product description.
BEWARE While drinking her hot chocolate this morning, my child pointed out that there was a sticker on this mug that said, “ingredients in this mug have been shown to cause brain damage and birth defects.” I am not kidding. I figure the mug must be done in lead paint. It’s going in the garbage.
May Cause Cancer I didn’t bother read the reviews before hand because it had 4 starts and, you know, it’s a mug. I was rather put off when attempting to open the packing I read:”This product contains chemicals know to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.”So I’m assuming that’s the lead the other reviewer mentioned. Guess I won’t be drinking out of it either.
