Shel Silverstein’s masterful collection of poems and drawings stretches the bounds of imagination and will be cherished by readers of all ages. This is a collection that belongs on everyone’s bookshelf. Makes a great gift for special occasions such as holidays, birthdays, and graduation. Great for Everyone! I loved these poems and a kid and my 4-year old enjoys them now. She “reads” the poems as she lies in bed at night. And, she is able to get a lot of the humor even now. What a great way to introduce kids to poetry and more abstract literature.
A classic and all kids and adults need this! If you didn’t read it as a child, read it now. I’m finishing up reading it to my 5 yr old and he really enjoys it. I think he’ll understand it a bit more when he’s a few yrs older. Silverstein never disappoints.
A Modern Classic Arrived promptly and in good shape. The book itself is a classic and should be a part of all young people’s reading experience. This is a replacement for the one that got lost in the course of a move
