Not Microwave Safe The description states that this mug is microwave safe. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a themed ceramic mug that is microwave safe, since so many of the heat changing or decorated ones are not lacking that feature defeats the purpose of buying a mug for beverages. I open the box, turn it over, and sure enough NOT MICROWAVE SAFE with a small microwave crossed out with an “X.” If you’re like me, keep looking. At least I can hold pencils with this paperweight…
Uncomfortable I own every ceramic Star Wars mug and this might be the worst. Sure, it looks cool, but it has a couple of design flaws. First, the handle gets hot when you poor in hot water. So there is no way to hold the mug when you put in hot water. Second, the handle is just very uncomfortable to hold. I keep getting a finger cramp. I have held many mugs in my life and this is the first mug that is not enjoyable to hold and drink from. The only decent thing is it is a drinkable mug – it looks like it…
Odd run on a fun mug Iâve purchased many of the Zak Star Wars mugs. This one though had an issue with the glaze. It has been pealing off as if itâs plastic, not a kiln fired coating.
