Fun My kids love this book. Iza Trapani’s books are all fun. They double as a lullaby because you sing the verses. Once the kids have listened enough they learn the verses and sing along with you.
only for over 60’s! My 2 year old granddaughter had absolutely no interest in this book. She is a child who loves to be read to and often will just sit and look at pictures by herself. Must be a generational thing – she certainly knows what the microwave is for!
New loyal fan I am a new fan of this author because the stories are based on classic songs toddlers love and hear often. Thus, the books keep toddlers’ attention. The words are immediately recognizable to little ones and they can grasp the story right away as a result. That’s such a thrill for toddlers in a world where so much is brand new and unfamiliar to them. Beyond that, the artwork is simply some of the very best I have ever seen in children’s books.
