Awesome series! A fun way to learn history!! I read this non-fiction book aloud to my children.

Funny, with no gross-out This is an entertaining look at the Boston Tea Party, full of cartoonish illustrations that will engage young readers. We use this more as just fun than for any serious educational purpose. I have a son who likes to draw, and he likes to imitate the illustration style of these “you wouldn’t want to be…” books.

Kurt A. Johnson says:

Fun and funny This book is a part of the You Wouldn’t Want to Be series of children’s books, created by Salariya Book Company. Like all of the books in this series, this one has lots of brightly colored illustration and gobs of great, off-beat humor. The book presents the story of George Robert Twelves Hewes, a Bostonian fed up with the British and their oppression of the American colonies.
