Love this mug If the liquid makes the mug too warm and uncomfortable for my right hand, I just switch it to my other hand and can hold the outer edge of the handle of until the drink cools down a bit; otherwise I hold it in my right hand closer to the top. This mug holds a lot of liquid and I have found I only put about 10 to 12 ounces at a time in it so there is plenty of room toward the top to prevent any potential slops/spills when walking around.
