So far so good! Just got this mug today, see pic which looks slightly different in a good way than the original pic, more orange around the bottom mainly. Iâve gotten into drinking tea and like the idea of having a compartment to move the bag to when itâs done steeping vs. having to use a separate tea plate which requires cleaning afterwards. Look’s cool, but kind of pointless I got this mug for my dad for Christmas. He has tea all the time and would use a random plate or paper towel to place the tea bag. Plus, my parents collect elephant objects so I thought this was perfect! After I gifted it to him however, I sort of started regretting it. Him and I agreed that it looks great, but you cant really drink out of the mug with the tea bag in the compartment (because it starts to drip/fall out) so you’d have to take it out the bag and throw it out before you drink it…
Looks cool, mug gets hotter than the water I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and even though it looks cool when he puts it in the microwave for 1 min 45 seconds the water isnât hot but the mug itself is extremely hot. Out of all the mugs we have this is the only one that does this- thus my rating. This mug looks cool but just isnât very functional.
