Warm to the touch, hot to the tongue! Just received these mugs and after washing them, made a cuppa Englush Afternoon Tea. After adding milk and sugar, I placed the lid on and noticed immediately that the outside if the mug was warm, not scalding hot since boiling water was placed in it 4 minutes earlier. However, I was promptly interrupted from enjoying said tea for over 45 minutes. When I returned, the mug was still warm to the touch and the tea still hot! I will try with coffee tomorrow with the 2nd mug. Great product so far!
good product but deceptive. I did not find a metallic smell but the cup only holds 12 oz filled to the brim. Maybe it would displace 14 oz of liquid if submerged but it only holds 12 oz filled to the brim. I measured! I plan to return them and go to Starbucks for a real coffee travel mug that holds 20 oz. If you only want 12 oz cups these are a nice quality. The lid fits snug but is easy to get off. The cup warmed up on the outside when filled with hot water from a Kurig. Not too hot just nice enough to warm cold hands on…
Great coffee cups! Love these lightweight coffee cups! Use one every morning. Keeps my coffee warm longer, and washes well in the dishwasher. For us with arthritic hands, a little wider handle would work a little better, but that’s my preference. Thanks.
