No paint, ink or chemicals are used. We wanted to keep these mugs 100% plastic & paint free but we also know that it’s handy to be able to tell who has which mug come refill time. So we came up with a novel solution: The Literal Color Range™. The words for the colors are laser etched on the two sides so that one cups is ‘red’ and the other is ‘green’. You may also like to look for our other Literal Color™ combinations: ‘blue’ & ‘pink or ‘purple’ & ‘orange’. That’s six different colors in total. Would choose these over ceramic Great little mugs, they hold about 1 3/4 cups of liquid. I wanted to test how well they held temperatures so i poured boiling water inside one. The outside never got to the point where holding it was painful. I did the same with a ceramic mug and after a few minutes the ceramic became too hot to hold by gripping the outside. The cold test resulted similarly where the outside didn’t become too cold. They look and feel nice. One personal note they felt just a bit too light but that’s more…
Great Mug Follow directions! Fill with vinegar water and soak overnight. Then run through dishwasher twice. After that, no metal smell or taste. Now my favorite mug for coffee, tea, anything cold, too. First class product!
I love these beautiful mugs I LOVE my mugs. They are beautiful , feel good in my hand and are my go-to mugs of choice, everything from lemonade to hot coffee.I am going to order another set for my son.They are lightweight and attractive.
