Best Assam Tea While this is probably much more than most people are used to spending on a black tea, I honestly feel it’s a steal at this price. I’ve never had a better Assam tea than this. It’s bracing, bold, a little astringent, and has a slight wintergreen/clove-like flavor that’s hard to describe. I personally like it without anything added. My favorite Of all the Vahdam chais, this is my favorite. I’m able to drink with or without milk/cream and sweetened or unsweetened. No flavor overpowers the other. It’s prefect. One disappointment is that 9 out of 10 purchases of Vahdam tea I’ve made in the past two months came with an expired discount code. Sorry, this experience did put a bad taste in my mouth.
