With handles, the diameter is 4.25 inches across so recommended for cups & mugs measuring 2.5 to 4 inches diameter at mouth. Drip bowl diameter 2.5 inches, height 1 inch. Strainer with drip bowl weighs 1.2 ounces.

Teacup-sized strainers I have purchased several sets of these. They do a great job straining out the bits of loose tea. the handles are sized perfectly for sitting on top of a teacup as you pour. I like the mesh strainer on these better than the type with drilled holes and the bowl that holds the strainer is wonderful.
