Poor design and craftsmanship I’m surprised at the spectacular reviews. First, this product is poorly designed. The lid cannot be removed without some type of thin utensil. Flipping the infuser upside down after brewing is complete is not an option since at that point it would be filled with tea leaves and water. My second issue with it is the poor craftsmanship. While washing the unit I cut my finger on the inside lip due to sharp exposed metal. Compared to other similar products, you save some money here but it’s…
Excellent but be gentle with it This little strainer is easy to clean and doesn’t leave a metal taste. The leaves don’t get stuck in the holes, but they do cling to the smooth sides, so don’t whack it on the side of the sink or trash can to get the leaves out — mine separated from the top (very dainty welding holding the top and basket together).
