Works well, is adorable Does exactly what it’s supposed to and feels very high quality, very sturdy. I only took off a star because some tea leaf bits will come out into the tea through the hinge openings while you’re steeping it. Makes sense considering those hinge holes need to be big enough to allow the lid to open without bending the steel or damaging the strainer, but still unexpected that the holes allow some leaf fragments through. Cute, but it has problems So adorable, it gives me a smile on a bad day, however the lid is difficult to work to put the tea leaves inside with my arthritis and the whole thing is kind of hard to clean as well.
