Aesthetically pleasing AND useful – Update – I really wanted to love this. I originally bought this tea thermos for a friend. When it arrived, I had to take a look at it myself. Great container! I really love this container for my tea while at work. It’s great and simple to use-just VERY important to ensure that you leave the lid off for a few minutes after pouring boiling water into it…otherwise it will put pressure onto the seal that separates the glass/plastic layers and let tea and moisture seep into the middle layer. I messed up the first one, and the company sent me a replacement container. Have had it for months without any other issues! Well worth the extra $ for this…
Good design but not perfect For its price, this bottle is a little overrated. It looks good and the polycarbonate shell makes it less fragile but…- you have to be careful about closing the lid. steam/air pressure will make it so you unscrew both lids at once so you might have an accident when you only intend to open just the top lid- if you close the lid too early while there is still steam, the lids will lock shut. A tshirt/towel won’t give you the grip you need since the lids are perfectly smooth…
