A unique, patented, removable stainless steel tea infuser is integrated into the teapot lid, and a non-drip spout and stay-cool handle allow for smooth pouring of hot tea. The Geo teapot is available in two sizes: Large (36 ounce/4 cup capacity) and Small (18 ounce/2 cup capacity). Both sizes are available for sale on Amazon.com in a variety of colors to compliment any kitchen. The Geo teapot and the stainless steel infuser by London Pottery are dishwasher safe. My Favorite Teapot I’m a tea lover and I have purchased many teapots and tea infusers in my life and I must say the London Pottery Geo Teapot is the best teapot with infuser I’ve ever owned. Purchased the 4 cup in yellow and it is wonderful! The infuser is deep and wide allowing full expansion of tea leaves, including gunpower styles. It’s design keeps the tea hot for at least 1 hour and the handle never gets hot. I love this so much, I will be purchasing a 2 cup version for the times I need just 2 cups of tea.
This Teapot Is A Keeper I also have the bigger version of this tea pot, but I like this one a lot better. With my 12 oz. tea cup, I get two cups from it. It keeps the second cup very warm while I enjoy the first cup of tea. As other reviewers have mentioned, it has a fine strainer and it has worked well with a black, Darjeeling tea, green (“gun powder”) tea and Barry’s tea. Even with my extra large hands, it is easy to clean (a problem with the bigger version of this tea pot) and doesn’t stain easily.
Best infuser ever 4.5 stars. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5.0 is because the mouth opening is a little narrow. Technically I’m not a teetotaler but I’ve been a tea snob for over 30 years. This teapot has THE best infuser I have ever used. Any grade of tea will work because the mesh is so tight. The teapot retains heat well and it’s the perfect size for one person.
