Happy with this Happy with this. It does what I was hoping it would do — it fits in my teapot with a 2.25 inch opening, and holds enough tea (2-3 tbsp pre-soak) to make a large-ish (32 oz) pot of tea. Also did a remarkably good job at keeping the chamomile bits out of the teapot.
Just About Perfect Exactly what I needed. It has a nice deep basket, that will hold a larger amount of herbs for tisanes. With the long handle, it will fit larger mugs, but the basket is small enough in diameter to fit in a narrow travel mug. The strainer is well constructed and heavy duty enough to last for many years of normal use. The lid that doubles as a coaster is a nice added touch. The basket mesh is very fine, but a small amount of very fine tea or herb will get through. That isn’t a big issue for me,…
Love it I chose this infuser over others for two factors. One, the construction is perforated metal as opposed to fine mesh, keeping the finer particles in the strainer. Second, I took note of the reviews commenting on the size of the cup on which this would fit. This fits on my largest wide-mouthed hand thrown mug.
