Rusted. Though this item is listed as stainless steel, it must be low quality as mine developed rust spots within a few weeks. I didn’t do anything abusive to it, it was used every few days, rinsed, wiped and left to fully air dry.
It’s okay. It looks nice and did its job. It fits around a coffee mug just fine. I don’t like that it gets very hot and you can burn your fingers taking it off the mug. I also prefer black tea and since I steep my tea 2 or 3 times the mesh stained easily and left it looking like it was moldy.
