You get what you pay for The price attracted me to this item, which is why I should have expected a poor quality item. The holes are so big a good bit of loose leaf tea spills out, the chain connecting to the ball fell off of one before I even used it. It gets the job done if you like getting tea leaves stuck in your mouth!
not the best holes in the tea ball just let all kinds of material out. usually wind of picking tea fragments out of my teeth. has not rusted but would not buy again.
