This large tea kettle is great for that purpose We use boiling water to control weeds in our garden as we do not want to use chemicals. This large tea kettle is great for that purpose. It holds about twice as much water as our other kettle so that means fewer trips out to the garden, and we spend less time waiting for a kettle to boil. Speaking of time, even though this kettle is much larger it only takes a minute or two longer to reach a boil.

Great pot for making tea… WOW!This makes a huge difference in the time that it takes for me to make cold tea. I make 3 gallons of tea at a time. With the old, small teapot it took forever, now it’s done with one giant teapot load. This one-gallon pot is added to 2 additional gallons of water.
