… big and heavy but it is light weight and easy to handle I was afraid this would be big and heavy but it is light weight and easy to handle. I love that the top lifts with a tab and that the entire lid and its rubber ring come out for washing. You can use the loose tea filter to submerge about 5-6 teabags at a time but I found it works to simply put the tea bags into the hot water without the filter. Pours without dripping and best of all it makes 5-6 cups of tea at a time. It isn’t insulated but a full pot of tea stays hot for about half an hour.
Loving it!! We are loving our teapot and have been using it everyday since we got it. My husband swears the the tea tastes better made in this teapot than from either of my glass pots because it tastes smoother and he likes a more mellow tea. It is a great size and we get 4 full coffee cups from one pot. It seems very well made and designed very well. The only downside is that giving the inside a good scrubbing with the tapered top isnt the easiest but cleaning a teapot never is.
