Decent on the whole. I bought this to make not tea but yerba mate. I use the strainer in the reverse way: I put the mate in the body of the tumbler and either drink the brewed mate out of the top or pour it into a cup, with the mesh strainer acting to retain the leaves inside the unit. Does it work? Almost. Most types of mate available are cut very small, smaller than the mesh of this tumbler, so I always get some tiny bits in my drink. That’s no big deal of course as mate is healthy. So on the whole this works…
Stays hot for HOURS!! We liked these so much, we bought 3! My husband takes one to work every day with his coffee. It stays hot for HOURS! He commutes a long way, and has hot coffee the entire way. The thermos and both lids are easy to clean, just put them in the dishwasher. We’ve had these tea tumblers for quite a while now, and they hold up great!
