Made of glazed ceramic [inside & out] and crafted in the “Brown Betty” UK Victorian style, this teapot is easy to clean and sturdier than porcelain. The lid has an extrusion to prevent your lid from falling while pouring, and the mouth opening is 2.25 x 2.5 inches in diameter helpful width if you want to use a tea ball or infuser. The lid also has a small round vent hole. This is important to let excess heat escape preventing a vacuum seal issue.
