Perfect solution to the tea kettle This little pot is wonderful. I have gone through countless tea kettles and have varying issues from them rusting to the whistle stops wroking. When I opened the lid the very little plastic smells really bad.. I researched a lot for a kettle that is safe with as little plastic as possible. This one caught my eyes because there seems to be that no plastic will be in contact with water. However, When I opened the lid the very little plastic smells really bad…I just bought it and used it once…So, perhaps the smell will go away after using it for a while…Still, I feel very uncomfortable with the plastic smell…It makes the water smell as well.
