Loverly Oh gosh, the color is so beautiful! Looks happy in my kitchen. Handle does not heat up. It’s not too heavy – 2 lbs 6 oz (just got a scale, might as well use it) and easy to pour except for the last bit where you have to tip it almost upside down. Just forget about that and add more water. The spout opening mechanism works nicely. Whistle is loud. Nice but… I bought this to replace my kettle that was leaking at the bottom seam. There are no seams on this one, so that won’t be a problem. The color is a bit less vibrant than pictured, but still a nice aqua. The release on the handle is convenient and it doesn’t get hot, so no need for potholders. The reason for the three stars is the spout. You have to turn the kettle almost upside down to pour all of the water out. This is quite dangerous when it is boiling. Great Kettle We love it. The design works well and looks great in our kitchen. The whistle is plenty loud and it holds a decent amount of water. The only two minor complaints are that you have to take care when you pour not to drip and filling the tank is slightly awkward because of the smaller lid and positioning of the handle.
