The teapot started off very nicely and it was easy to use and it whistled … The teapot started off very nicely and it was easy to use and it whistled loudly. However, about 3 months after using it and after the return period, it began to leak at the bottom seam. The water seeps through the seam when the pot is hot and leaves marks on the stove. It also developed a rusty area around the leak. I would definitely not recommend this product.
chrome coating on handle starts peeling immediately Out of the box it looks beautiful and feels solid. Surprise, surprise! Not what you would expect The color of the tea pot is pretty so I do give them that (I got the blue and it is bright kind of metallic looking) IF you actually get it and it isn’t all banged and scratched up. The issue is that they just slap a shipping label on the flimsy teapot box which isn’t even sealed with tape on the ends – no protection of the product whatsoever!
