ADORABLE!! This is just the cutest tea kettle ever! YES, it IS on the small side (took me by surprise a little even though I knew the measurements and read the reviews), HOWEVER, it is absolutely perfect for me as I only have 1 cup of tea or coffee at a time anyway. The design is just adorable and I am very happy with my purchase. The smaller size just makes it that much cuter. 🙂 Hope the side by side comparison helps!

Unlike other non-whistling kettles it has no provision to vent steam upon boiling.
