Love this Kettle!!! This tea kettle looks PERFECT on our stove, and I love the pop of color. The whistle is clear and at a good tone that is loud enough to hear from another room. On occasion, if the flame is too high under the kettle the handle can get warm, but not hot enough that you need a pot holder or towel. The handle is rubberized and comfortable to grip. The whistle It’s true, this kettle has a medium whistle. You can hear it from another room, if you don’t have your music or TV up too high. Now, if I was to fall asleep during the heating time and I was in another room, I may not hear it, but I make a point to listen for it, so no problem here. but obviously not great qc. Arrived with the back screw and plate holding the handle sitting in the bag. I was able to screw it back in, but I doubt this will hold up for the long run, but it works as is and fairly inexpensive. There was also a gouge in the metal on the inside of kettle so hoping that doesn’t rust over time, but obviously not great qc.
