Bring the Mediterranean to mind with the cool aquamarine tones of Denby Azure. Add accented pieces from the Azure Coast range to bring a touch of summer to your table, whatever the weather. Anyone who owns Denby will tell you how versatile it is and how good it feels. Every piece has been designed for cooking, serving and eating food from the gravy rim on our plates to the space on our saucers for biscuits. Our tableware is made for real food, not just for show. Its for sharing, for fingers, for chopsticks, for barbeques, for kitchensyou choose. Denby can handle itself in the busiest kitchens. From the smallest cup to the biggest casserole, all our pieces can be used with confidence in the microwave, dishwasher and freezer. We’ve got over 5000 glazes, all harder than steel. It’s taken us 180 years to get our glazes as flawless as they are, meaning our tableware washes more easily, but chips less easily. Denby is smashing stuff! Our tableware is really much harder to crack than other tableware. Each Denby piece is unique. It passes through 25 pairs of hands before reaching yours, including a test to make it as comfortable as possible to hold.

Beautiful I like the beautiful style of this mug and also it is very easy to hold the larger handle. Would recommend this to anyone.

Bowl with a hole! This would be a lovely Denby bowl if not for the slit in the bottom of it, which must have been made before it was fired as it is not a crack but a cut that looks like a knife made it. This was not billed as a ‘second’ so I am disappointed and will now go back to Macy’s to buy my Denby bowls. The slit does not go all the way through but I doubt that it will last long once it has been in and out of the dish washer a few times. Live and learn I guess.
