The flames shouldn’t be passing over a foot of the teapot. – If you are using your teapot over a hotplate, make sure the diameter of the hotplate is equal or smaller than the teapot’s foot. – If you are using it over a trivet, make sure to the diameter of the trivet is equal or smaller than the bottom of the pot. – The joining parts of the teapot are very sensitive. Deficient performance, risk of injury I ordered this product because of its beautiful design as well as the extra thick bottom, which allows a better diffusion of the heat. But the problem is that the design of the mouth and the absence of holes in the cap make the boiling water spill around when you’re trying to pour.
Great teakettle I love it! Heats quickly, pours easily, and just a perfect match for my kitchen decor. Be aware this is not a whistling teakettle. I use my grandmotherâs whistle when needed but since it was purchased to make coffee and hot tea, I rarely need the whistle.
Nice! Nice tea kettle – works well and appears to be well made. Wish the handles were black rather than red – but thatâs just a personal thing. Large lid makes it easy to clean.
