Perfect for two cups of tea! Highly recommend! I was pleasantly surprised by this teapot! The pot itself is lovely — smooth and well-made, no jagged edges or missing paint. The lid fits tightly with a grommet to keep it sealed. And the strainer is really sturdy, not the flimsy mesh strainers my other teapots have but a stiff metal strainer. The tab on the strainer makes it easy to lift out. Perfect for one person — I get two large mugs of tea from a full teapot.
Great teapot! I make iced tea or refrigerator tea everyday for work. If I plan ahead, I steep the tea for 5 minutes, put it in a Tervis and stick in the fridge for the next day. For iced tea I just steep it, pour it over ice in the Tervis and then drink that. So this teapot gets used quite frequently, sometimes more than once a day.
