The “paint” at the top of the kettle does not go under the silver top and is rough to the touch and looks like it may have dripp I bought this just as a decoration to sit in my kitchen. From afar is is pleasing to the eye but up close it is not. For being such an expensive name brand item it is very poorly made. Damaged When I received my teapot, the handle was wobbly and there were huge spots with chipped paint coming off. I have seen the teapot in other stores in person, and none of them looked like this one. I was extremely disappointed and am returning.
Wanted to Love This I wanted to love this, but mine came damaged. I had a big chunk missing out of the back, and the handle was falling off. However, in theory, this is a great item-just think mine was damaged in transit.
