Has Le Creuset fallen so far….???? My wife & I were born in Europe. There, Le Creuset was considered an elite brand and, confirming that that reputation was deserved, we have several items (saucepans, pots, etc.) that we have owned for more than 30 years, and that are still as good as new. Indeed, they are so well-made and durable that we sometimes discuss who will inherit them when we die!

Maybe my favorite thing in my kitchen. I am so happy with this teakettle. Our larger kitchenaid kettle finally pooped out. The bottom enamel started to chip. Since before buying that one YEARS ago, I really wanted just a small white kettle. We move often so small, universal pieces are really key to being able to unpack and feel at home. Blue kettle is bright and cheery, perfect for a small apartment I bought this kettle as a gift for my sister. It’s lovely, and the Marseille blue is a nice bright color (as pictured). The handle is nice and firm so it doesn’t swing around when you’re trying to pour, and stays completely cool. It is a smaller kettle…the instructions say not to fill passed the dots/fill line, which means it doesn’t hold much, but it’s enough for two or three big mugs of tea. If you fill passed the dots, water will sputter out the spout and the whistle won’t work, but…
